Better late than never.
Somehow I completely forgot to post our result from the working test in early June. Work has been extremely busy, and there have been things in recent weeks that simply mattered more than social media. Which makes me all the happier to share this one now.
Our Blossom vom Sagberg (IntFTCh. Drumindoney First Coise x Int. FTCh & ÖJgdCH Jersey Girls Velvet) took 1st place in the Newcomer class at the Woodrush Trophy 2026 with 73 out of 80 points — passed with excellence and additionally awarded the Judges’ Choice.
More than the result, though, I am delighted by Blossom’s development. She is still a very young bitch and already shows exactly the qualities we want in hunting work: joy in the job, calmness, biddability and a big heart.
Warm thanks to the Austrian Retriever Club, the judges, the organisers, the helpers and all the participants for an excellently run working test and a beautiful day.
Now it is back to training, gathering experience and, above all, enjoying the work together.
